Stoicism and NonViolent Communication (NVC) : complementary philosophies of life ?
Upon discovering Nonviolent Communication, my practice of Stoicism experienced an unexpected renewal: it became more concrete, more embodied, and more accessible. I then found the dialogue between these two philosophies highly relevant. I believe that a Stoicism based on NVC principles is possible and desirable. This is what I would like to discuss in this article.
